Fantastic feathered friend
We’ve had a few visitors to Abbotsleigh Care Home this past week, including Reece who kindly brought Penny, a magnificent Harris’s Hawk, to visit us.
She is three years old and Reece has hand-reared her from a few weeks old.
Penny only takes her food and commands from Reece – such a beautiful creature.
Garden helper
Chris from our maintenance team had an extra pair of hands this week to help water our garden.
Our lovely resident Jennifer came out to offer her help – thank you to her!
We are very proud of our garden and it’s certainly needed some water recently with all this sunshine!
