We’ve had another busy week at Abbotsleigh Care Home with our wonderful residents.
Our main theme of the week has been ‘Alice in Wonderland‘ as Lewis Carroll was born on 27th January 1832. It was a great excuse to have a little party on Friday afternoon with our residents, which was great fun.
We had a great start to the week with a visit from an exercise group called The Right Step Dance Company. Our residents really enjoyed interacting with the instructors, especially using the ribbons and streamers.
The beautiful RDA horses popped by this week too and we had apples ready for them! What wonderful creatures they are, we always love to see them.
On Saturday 1 February we celebrated ‘Dignity Day‘ throughout our Home. We involved our residents, families and staff by asking them what ‘dignity‘ means to them, and getting them to write on a butterfly to hang on our Dignity Tree.
