What a wonderful week at Abbotsleigh Care Home, filled with music!
We have welcomed two brilliant musical performers. The lovely Kevin Walsh treated our residents to a good old sing-a-long, which got us all singing and dancing. We then hosted the wonderful Miss Holiday Swing whose music really got our residents reminiscing about the old days.
We’ve also been enjoying some flower arranging with our ladies. The selection of flowers we used, which included some gorgeous roses and carnations, were kindly donated by a friend of one of our residents for use in our Home – a very thoughtful gesture.
We enjoyed carefully arranging them and then placing our finished displays around our Units for everyone to enjoy. They are beautiful!
Birthday wishes too to our lovely resident Vera P who celebrated her 93rd birthday with us on Monday 31 August.
