Following an inspection at Abbotsleigh Care Home in February, we are delighted to have been awarded a ‘Commend’ accreditation from The Gold Standards Framework (GSF), having completed the Gold Standard Framework in Care Homes Training Programme.
GSF training provides a practical, evidence-based approach to optimising care for all people nearing the end of life, given by front-line care providers. GSF focuses on quality care – quality improvement with training, quality assurance with standards of care and quality recognition with recognised accreditation.
Our amazing Unit Manager Joy has led the way in guiding and implementing GSF at Abbotsleigh and we are all very proud to have received such an important accreditation for the high quality of care we provide for those in their final years of life.
