Our residents here at Abbotsleigh Care Home had a lot of fun over the last week; we started the week off with a world cruise!
TheEntertaimentProviders.co.uk presented us with their ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ show on Tuesday 22 July in the afternoon, where we sang songs from all our stops on the cruise – we had so much fun singing along!
We enjoyed doing lots of arts and crafts ahead of our ‘Big Beach Party’ on Friday 24 July. We were so lucky to be able to have the wonderful Kevin Walsh performing for us for the afternoon – we all dressed up in bright summery clothes and a few pirates showed up as well!
We all had so much fun singing and dancing and one of lovely residents, Victor J, was lucky enough to have his 91st birthday on 24 July – he was so happy with his cake and everybody sang him ‘Happy Birthday’.
