What a wonderful coronation weekend we had here at Abbotsleigh Care Home!
Such a lovely coronation and to top it off, our crown came 2nd in Nellsar’s Crafty Crown competition – well done to our residents for their wonderful creativity.
The new king popped in to see us for a spot of Nosecco and our Chef made fabulous cupcakes and a wonderful large coronation cake.
Our very own Queen Viv (Recreation and Well-Being Manager) make an appearance under our balloon arch and we placed the crown on the king’s head, with everyone wearing hats with King Charles on and waving flags while we watched the coronation in our red lounge.
Some of our residents remember the first coronation; how lovely for them to see this one too.
