This week we’ve enjoyed some activity games with our residents, led by Phil here at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
We played ball games which included trying to get pin balls into a cup. Doreen led the way along with Josie – it’s tricker than it looks!
When it came to darts, Rose showed us how it was done, hitting a bullseye! Doreen and Vera pulled up the ranks with some great concentration and wrist moves.
Our lovely horses came to visit in the week too, much to the delight of Carol and her visiting daughter.
We also had Staplehurst Free Church in to visit and Louis really enjoyed singing ‘Lord of the Dance‘ with all of us.
We’ve also been looking ahead to the spring, with some bulb planting. We can’t wait for a beautiful display next year. Watch this space!
