Starting 2022 with sweet treats and flowers
We started the new year off with a lovely tea party last month at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
Our Chef made a beautiful cake and some cupcakes with lots of sparkles and some refreshing cups of tea!
Some of our ladies also got stuck in to some flower arranging; Pat, Jenny and Rose made some beautiful floral decorations for our Home which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Chinese New Year
We made Chinese lanterns and some lovely panda pictures this month to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
We loved decorating our Home with colourful New Year posters, featuring the year of the Tiger, and welcoming our wonderful volunteers Dom and Caroline to join in the fun!
Flavoured teas and fortune cookies were also on the menu – great fun was had by all!
Winter sunshine
We have been enjoying our warmer winter days by going for walks along our driveway – great for some fresh air in the sunshine and lovely to be close to nature.
