We enjoyed a great outing for Father’s Day when we were given a very warm welcome at The Boathouse pub in Yalding; we are so lucky to have such beautiful places on our doorstep here at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
The staff at the pub were very accommodating and the food was brilliant! Our residents enjoyed the food and non-alcoholic beers immensely…we had never seen such large portions of fish and chip – not for the faint-hearted!!
Everyone had such a lovely outing and we were fortunate enough to have the weather on our side too.
