The latest additions to Abbotsleigh Care Home are our three newly incubated chicks!
Our residents and staff have loved them so much and they have made so many people so happy. James and our Carers have been enjoying spending time with the chicks and coming up with names for them.
We have been taking them around to our residents and Brenda welcomed them with such laughter!
One of our residents, Mary, who is registered blind, was a little apprehensive at first, but soon warmed to their little ‘cheep, cheep!‘ calls and soft downy bodies.
We love our new feathered friends!
