We were delighted to have the Mayor of Maidstone Derek Mortimer join us on our Alzheimer’s Memory Walk on Saturday 24 September at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
He came in to our Home to greet our ladies and gents which they all enjoyed and took part in the charity walk with our lovely residents and staff all the way up our drive. Our residents’ family members also joined in on the walk and lifted everyone’s spirits!
We had a fantastic cake and snacks made by our great Chefs too and luckily our day was not stopped by a little bit of rain as it held out.
Huge thanks to everyone who came and made this such a memorable day – we raised £230 for the Alzheimer’s Society which is fantastic!
