We had a lovely walk on Tuesday 21 of September with many residents and staff, along with families and friends, joining us in our Abbotsleigh Care Home Alzheimer’s Memory walk, to raise money for the charity.
We enjoyed some wonderful weather as we walked or pushed loved ones out along our drive – lots of smiling faces and a super atmosphere of coming together.
At the end of the walk everyone enjoyed tea, cakes, biscuits and other refreshments.
Donations were welcomed for both the Alzheimer’s Society and MacMillan Cancer Support.
We have yet to add up our total, but watch this space!
