Many happy returns!
We’ve enjoyed celebrating two birthdays recently here at Abbotsleigh Care Home; Ruby had a happy 91st birthday with her daughter and Jean turned 92 years young!
Both our birthday girls enjoyed their cakes and being spoilt for their special days.
Arts and crafts
We’ve had fun making some pinch bowels, beads and a very handsome turtle all from clay, which we will paint when they have dried. Brenda really enjoyed the clay – such a relaxing pastime.
Some of our residents have also been making some festive lavender and spice bags; Mary thoroughly enjoyed this and it was wonderful to smell the seasonal scents.
We also decorated some Christmas jumper pictures for Benenden Hospital to display, to brighten up their patients’ day!
