Singer Kevin Walsh came to help us celebrate Burns Night here at Abbotsleigh Care Home, with a singalong session last week!
Our ladies and gents were really happy and engaged with his music – dancing the afternoon away, to his lively and catchy songs. We eagerly await your next visit, Kevin!
We were also treated to amazing Burns Night food; our residents loved every bite of their lunch which featured ‘mince and patties’, smoked haddock fishcakes and Cranachan for dessert, plus a supper feast of Scottish smoked salmon tart, Cullen Skink (a thick Scottish soup made of smoked haddock, potatoes and onions) and Burns Night sandwiches fit for a King!
