Our residents at Abbotsleigh Care Home made a lovely cone-shaped crown cake together for King Charles’s birthday recently.
Everyone decorated their own cones, and they were then lovingly put together to make a crown. It was a little sticky, but we think it turned out beautifully and we had fun making it!
Our Chefs also created a magnificent celebration cake for King Charles, which looked and tasted delicious.
We celebrated with the man himself (…the cardboard version anyway, ha ha!) and a glass of wine.
A very happy birthday to our King!
