Celebrating Mothers Day at Abbotsleigh Care Home

We had a joyful Mothering Sunday at Abbotsleigh Care Home at the weekend and our residents are still talking about it this week!

We made pretty posies of flowers for all our residents to enjoy and decorated our tables for a very nice tea, provided by our Chefs.

We sang some songs and ended up with ‘Seasons in the sun‘.

A number of our residents also had garden visits from their families and some of us went out for a walk in the glorious sunshine.
 
A very happy Mother’s Day was had by all.
