What a great week our residents had at Abbotsleigh Care Home last week!
We have been enjoying ‘no bake’ baking with our residents, who have made some popsicles using vanilla sponge – broken down then mixed together with raspberry jam. These are formed into balls and covered in chocolate and sprinkles – yum! Our residents loved eating their creations!
For International Men’s Day we thought it would be an interesting reminiscence activity to put a tool board together and let our gentlemen tell us what they would have used each tool for and in what profession. To top it off, Byron and Chris from our lovely Maintenance Team got involved and shared an alcohol free beer with the gentlemen. Cheers chaps!
