This week at Abbotsleigh Care Home we have made little Victoria sponge cakes, which were very much enjoyed by our ladies and gents.
We went for a lovely walk around our grounds with a few of our residents, who loved seeing the wild blackberries and pears growing in our beautiful surroundings.
Some of our residents have also enjoyed completing a ‘tiny bridge challenge‘, where they had to construct tiny bridges from lolly sticks and small cones to get their model animals across safely. Great fun for our engineering minds!
Painting has also been on our activity list this week and our residents had a very relaxing session creating some fabulous artwork in our lounges.
