When it comes to art, we are always excited to express ourselves here at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
With a bit of help from our very creative Activity Lead Esme, we have created some beautiful and thoughtful pieces recently using clay, water colours, acrylic paint, tissue paper, oil pastels and many more mediums. We have also used leaves to make imprints and painted on tiles at Slap and Dash Pottery Painting in Hawkhurst.
We’ve displayed a lot of our residents’ work in our dining area and after we surveyed our masterpieces, we had a brilliant paint pouring session.
Our residents love being creative and colourful and it’s always amazing to see their work taking shape.
