Crooner Kevin
Our regular crooner Kevin Walsh came into Abbotsleigh Care Home last week to serenade us for Easter.
Our ladies and gents had a fantastic time, singing and dancing along – our pom-poms got well used too! It was lovely to see everyone joining in and singing along.
Kevin sang some classic 50s tunes and a birthday girl was there too!

Beautiful bonnets
We made some very stylish Easter bonnets last week, decorated with little chicks, bunny rabbit tails and lots of laughter! All ready for our little parade to show them off.
A visit from the Easter bunny
The Easter bunny rolled into town with her trolley on Easter Sunday. She hopped about and handed out Easter eggs to all of our residents, who were egg-static to receive them!
We hope everyone got a visit from the Easter bunny this year, the Abbotsleigh bunny has had to put her feet up after all of that hopping around, until next year! And hats off to our amazing Chefs this Easter too! They really pushed the boat out with our Easter treats; beautiful cakes and sweet tiny Easter baskets – such lovely creations.
