This week has been filled with fun here at Abbotsleigh Care Home!
We took a trip to Milbrook Garden Centre for lunch and a browse around all the beautiful Christmas decorations and gifts on offer.
During the week we have had two church services; one was a Remembrance service and the other was from Staplehurst Free Church, where we sang several hymns and talked about Children in Need.
We were also visited by Animalia, who brought in a variety of animals that we could stroke and hold, including a baby corn snake and a ‘Skinny Pig’ – a hairless Guinea Pig, which some of our residents found really funny!
We also had an engaging performance from singer Kevin Walsh and a visit from the hairdresser.
Alongside all of these activities, we made sure we had plenty of one-to-one time with our ladies and gentlemen, which is always very special.
