Residents at Abbotsleigh Care Home enjoy a full and fun lifestyle. Last week, some of our ladies took the opportunity to pot some lovely flowers in the garden, while others enjoyed being pampered by the Hairdresser. One of our gentlemen also tucked into a yummy chicken lunch one afternoon at none-other than Nandos!
And where would we be without music? As part of our residents’ birthday celebrations, and just for fun, we welcomed entertainers and singers into the Home last week – Miss Holiday Swing brought many-a-smile to our residents’ faces with her beautiful voice and stunning look.
Fast becoming a firm-favourite, a visit from the Riding for Disabled Association (RDA) was a welcome treat, and creative crafts went down well as residents worked with a variety of materials including paint and string – creating lovely seashell collages.
