Our residents at Abbotsleigh Care Home have had a lovely week thanks to the warmer, brighter weather. Perfect timing for a resident’s birthday and Mother’s Day:
Happy birthday Marion!
This week, staff and residents at Abbotsleigh Care Home have celebrated the lovely Marion’s birthday. She received lots of cards and a huge cake that she shared with her family.
Salt dough shapes
Eileen, Jeremy and Carole experimented with Lavender salt dough, using cookie cutters to make different shapes to then paint and hang up or place as ornaments.
Mother’s Day flowers
Our lovely Jenny, Joan, Annette, Ken, Doris, Vera and Moira enjoyed a special flower arranging session for Mother’s Day. The bunches of tulips and roses look beautiful and smelled gorgeous.
Sun trap
The lovely Eileen couldn’t wait to catch a few rays in the garden when the sun came out – you’ll see her sunbathing in the garden and posing for the camera in the pictures below. She rolled up her sleeves and took of her watch so she didn’t get tan lines!
