This week, staff and residents at Abbotsleigh Care Home enjoyed visits from the horses from a local riding school. Residents Doreen and Jenny really enjoyed feeding and stroking the horses and admiring how big they are.
Tickled Pink Productions entertained us with a show which all the families who were visiting thoroughly enjoyed. Our residents joined in with the singing and Pearl really came alive remembering the old hits – clapping and smiling and we’re pretty sure if they could’ve danced they would have!
Supporting Macmillan
We also raised £100 for the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 27 September. Beryl Antcliff, a family member of one of our residents, decided to go for the big shave and has raised over £2,000 so far. Well done Beryl!
