What a lovely time we all had at Abbotsleigh Care Home in the lead up to Christmas. Residents had fun getting crafty making lots of Christmas decorations, and a few of our ladies even dressed up as angels.
Some of our residents helped to string the Christmas balloons around our Home and we had the wonderful Keely visit us to perform her Christmas set, which everyone really enjoyed!
A musical, magical Christmas
We were thrilled to receive a visit from the Barry Tucker-Thomas Clarke choir – an old fashioned choir who sang ‘Olde Kent’ songs. Ruben the Pets as Therapy (PAT) dog came and visited us as well, and our residents love to stroke him.
Thank you to Staplehurst Free Church who came and sang some festive songs for our us, along with saying a prayer for everyone. We had a fantastic finish to the week with the ever popular Kevin Walsh.
Everyone here at Abbotsleigh Care Home wishes you a happy new year!
