We have been thrilled to receive some extremely kind donations recently from our lovely families here at Abbotsleigh Care Home, with many gifting sweets and treats over the Christmas period for our staff, which we were very grateful for.
We received a microwave for our staff from Susan, the daughter of one of our residents Philip. She wanted to give something back to our team and say a big thank you to us all. As our microwave had broken, she thought this would be the ideal gift. Thank you Susan!
Our amazing new coffee machine was purchased for our staff by Bill, as a thank you for looking after his wife Vera. Bill also brings fresh cakes and fruits for our staff and residents on a weekly basis. He says he likes to feel he is doing something good for us all, which is so thoughtful. Huge thanks Bill!
Our ‘Give a Little Love‘ badges were kindly donated to all our staff by the family of Millie, who sadly passed away just after Christmas. They also donated gifts of toiletries and colouring books to our residents who did not have any family over the festive season. Thank you so much for thinking of us.
