Mexican garden party
Our residents at Abbotsleigh Care Home had a wonderful afternoon this week enjoying a little Mexican fiesta (and much later, a little siesta!) in our lovely garden.
It was a colourful affair, with vibrant bunting and decorations, Mexican shawls and hats and a choice of refreshing fresh fruits and juices on offer.
We also had some lively salsa music, a few dance moves and some serious Pinata hitting!
Everyone loved the sunshine, fresh air and good company. A really fun afternoon was had by all.
We’ve enjoyed some relaxing walks in our garden to make the most of the warmer weather, plus a lovely visit from our local riders when our residents enjoyed feeding the horses some apples.
We have also been busy keeping active with some armchair exercises and group painting too, when we were working on a creative poster for World Earth Day.
