Making tissue paper poppies
We have had an interesting week here at Abbotsleigh Care Home, last week. We made poppies with our residents and used them throughout the Home, and designed a lovely backdrop; we even painted some poppy pictures for our Remembrance Day. Our chef made us some delicious cupcakes too.
Remembrance Sunday
We had the delightful Keeley in to sing to us for Armistice Day. She sang some classic war time songs and our residents had a fabulous time singing along and waving their flags!
