We’ve had a relaxing few days here at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
We are getting ready for the ‘Great British Bird Watch’ week and made bird feeders from cardboard, peanut butter and bird seeds. We hung them up outside and are looking forward to seeing our feathered friends enjoying them.
We have also started making prototype lanterns with lavender inserted into them and will see how they turn out in the coming week. Joan enjoyed testing the smell of the lavender!
Our musical instruments came out to brighten up a rainy afternoon and Pat also enjoyed some knitting and has made an excellent knitted sausage dog for a beloved great grandchild. He’s so sweet!
