On Tuesday 30 November we celebrated St Andrews Day ‘with a twist’ at Abbotsleigh Care Home as St Andrew is also the Patron Saint of Romania, so we had double the reason to party!
We decked out our Home in Romanian colours and Jenny helped make some themed table decorations.
Our Romanian staff came together and made some amazing food for everyone to enjoy – a magnificent spread of meats, cheeses, stuffed peppers and other savoury treats, as well as a cake centrepiece.
With the Romanian flag on display and some of our team wearing traditional clothes, it was a happy and proud day for us all.
