Tracey Hampton at Abbotsleigh Care Home is braving the shave

The countdown has begun for Tracey Hampton at Abbotsleigh Care Home who will be braving the shave to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 25 September. Tracey’s shave is booked in for 11.30am in the Abbotsleigh Hair Salon.

Our Tracey is one of Abbotsleigh’s longest serving staff members and she has worked at the Home since 2007. Tracey works as a Recreation and Well-being Champion and the money she raises in sponsorship will go towards the millions of pounds needed to pay for Macmillan Nurses who support people living with cancer.

Since 2015, the brave shavers have raised over £22.7 million. This incredible amount could pay for 140 Macmillan Nurses for three years. Be part of something amazing and help Tracey raise even more!

As well as fundraising for Macmillan, the hair goes to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs to children and young adults who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.

Well done Tracey for being so brave!
