We had a great week at Abbotsleigh Care Home last week as we welcomed some wonderful Nurses to our Home, who recently passed their OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) qualification to join our team of Nurses at Abbotsleigh.
A huge well done to all three of them and a very warm welcome to Jeetu Joji, Sreeja Poulose and Aska Bethel who has been a Senior Carer here at Abbotsleigh for the past nine years and is now an OSCE Nurse.
Our Night Nurse Cece Karanja has recently gone on maternity leave and she received some fantastic presents from all our staff. We wish her and her baby girl well and look forward to her return.
Kevin Walsh entertains….
As we have had a few days of glorious weather at Abbotsleigh, we decided to have one of our firm favourites back to entertain us – the wonderful singer Kevin Walsh.
Our residents really enjoyed his show and some of our ladies decided to have a dance with our staff as well – such a fun afternoon!
It was great to see Kevin again and enjoy his fantastic music!
