World Animal Day
It was World Animal Day on Wednesday 4 October and we were so lucky here at Abbotsleigh Care Home to have a lovely visit from our local Riding for the Disabled (RDA) horses.
We fed them apples and our residents had a wonderful time admiring them.
During the day we also made time to stroke of our feathered friends – our lovely chickens Alex and Sonic.
We love all animals and really enjoy interacting with them.
National Smile Day
For National Smile Day we created a collage of some of our fabulous smiles!
It was a lovely activity, looking through our collection of photos and choosing our favourites, which was tricky as there were lot of good ones. We definitely had enough photos to fill a few books!
