Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Our team members at Abbotsleigh Care Home created a fabulous ‘Pink Party’ for Breast Cancer Awareness this week, and what a party we had!
We had a very pink table with lots of information on Breast Cancer, and tasty pink cakes too – they looked fantastic and tasted delicious!
We all donned some pink accessories and got to boogying with the lovely Kristy who came to sing for us; she sang a mixture of 50s and 60s songs and some other eras too.
As you can see from the photos, everyone was up and dancing! You can’t say “no” to a bit of an Abba sing along, and there was also a very adventurous conga line.
There were so many happy faces, it was a brilliant afternoon. Even our chicken came in with her pink tutu on!
