Coffee and cake
Residents, staff and visitors at Abbotsleigh Care Home held a scrumptious coffee morning on Friday 28 September as part of their annual “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning”. Thank you very much to everyone who baked and donated cakes for the great cause – we loved eating lots of yummy cakes and raising money in the process.
Tickled Pink
In recent weeks, our residents have enjoyed a visit from one of their favourite theatre companies – Tickled Pink – who delivered a great performance. We’ve had lots of fun making autumn decorations and we welcomed a few horses from Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) into the Home again too.
Church service
Some of residents take comfort in attending church services and we hold them here on a regular basis. We’ve also been busy collecting harvest festival donations for the local Maidstone homeless shelter and residents loved their latest visit from Ruben the PAT dog.
