We all enjoyed celebrating St Patrick’s Day on Wednesday 17 March at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
Our fantastic Chef Alex made an amazing rainbow cake to celebrate the occasion, with icing, marshmallows and its own pot of gold! It was very tasty!
We had fun making themed decorations with our residents for our afternoon Irish tea party and our menu was coloured themed with the Irish flag in mind.
And as spring has sprung at Abbotsleigh we’ve been taking some of our residents out for flower picking and walks in the garden and wooded area. Our lovely Jen loved picking daffodils for our lounge.
