Here at Abbotsleigh Care Home we recently hosted our annual barbecue party; this year’s theme was Wild Wild West.
Our residents, families and staff joined in to make this year’s event very successful and most enjoyable.
Our Chefs and the entire Kitchen Team excelled themselves with the barbecue, salads and desserts, which included a Wild West Cake.
We had a visit from the RDA ponies and as usual they were spoiled with a selection of apples and carrots. Our younger visitors enjoyed feeding them too.
After that, we all got into line with some line dancing led by the musicians Caz and Ellie. They entertained us with their full repertoire of country music, which got our feet stomping and our voices singing along!
