We enjoyed another visit from our beautiful local RDA horses recently at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
The Chalkdown Group Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is based in Staplehurst, Kent and is a small group of volunteers and ponies who provide therapeutic riding sessions. They are part of the National RDA, a registered charity, which consists of approximately 500 local groups throughout the country.
The group comes and visits regularly and our residents really look forward to seeing the volunteers and their wonderful horses; this time we got up close and fed them some cut up apples which they loved!
