We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee here at Abbotsleigh Care Home.
Our residents and Carers helped with decorating our Home by putting Union Jacks on sticks and taming our red, white and blue balloons amongst other things!
We had fun partying outside in the sunshine as part of our celebrations. We invited talented singer Keely to entertain our residents, who looked great in her Union Jack outfit!
Everyone wished the Queen a very happy birthday and celebrated her Jubilee, Abbotsleigh-style!
Despite the wet British weather, we were not deterred from having a right royal time, with a wonderful Jubilee buzz and further musical entertainment over the long weekend. It was very special to have family members come to join in all the fun!
To top it all, our wonderful Chef laid on a fantastic spread for our tea party.
